Photographer's Note

This is, quite obviously, not the Big Apple, but rather a town by the same name in southwestern Montana. Population at the last census (2000) was 1396 people, 97.4% of whom were white. Afro-Americans totaled 0.4% and Hispanics 0.93%. This is a view of Main Street on a Sunday at noon. Not a soul in sight. The only living creatures in view were a pair of ground squirrels somewhat curious about the new guy in town carrying a camera at this godly hour.
Since there was nobody around to ask, I can only assume
that folks living in this "little" apple are kinda laid back and more chilled out than their counterparts in the "Big" one. Probably not too much excitement...although, according to Wikipedia, there was a serial killer from here back in the 70's. All in all, a lovely little place where I could dwell for at least a week.
