Photographer's Note
Lake Sherburne - over three miles long - is on the eastern side of Glacier National Park and lies in the scenic Many Glacier Valley. Although called a lake, it's actually a reservoir created from the flows of Swiftwater Creek. As with any reservoir, its water levels fluctuate and get very low late in the summer. I doubt that's the case this summer as the area had snowfall that exceeded the annual average by a large percentage.
