The Oregon Coast is known for its rugged beauty with jagged cliffs and picturesque views. This photo was taken at Ecola State Park, which is just north of Cannon Beach. In the distance is Haystack Rock, which is named for its shape and is 237 feet tall. At low tide you can explore the sea life - like hermit crabs and anemones - that fill the pools near the rock.
