Photographer's Note
This is Metlako Falls, one of seven water attractions you can find on the very popular and somewhat hazardous Eagle Creek Trail located in Oregon’s Columbia River gorge area. To photograph all seven waterfalls you should be prepared to hike many miles; the trail will take you 14 miles up to Whatum Lake. This is my all time favorite trail for many reasons. If you plan a trip to Oregon for hiking or photography I highly recommend it. It’s trail # 440..

Nice photo of Metlako falls.
I have hiked about half of the Eagle Creek trail, it is spectacular but a little crowded I will have to make it all the way to whatum lake someday.
