Photographer's Note
I took this picture while hiking the backside of Mt. Timpanogos. It almost seemed more park-like, than I was expecting, and it was very beautiful. I did not make it all the way to the top, actually I didn't even get close, but it was worth it as far as I was able to go. Note all of the small waterfalls cascading over each of the ledges. Next time I will try to get into better shape before I try it.

Hi Mark:
Ah, the Aspen Grove trail. I know it well. One of my favorites with all the waterfalls--there must be about 20 on the way to Hidden Lakes Basin (where it levels out). If you like scenery, the hike up from the Timpooneke trailhead (a little north and west of this trailhead) is even better. Anyway, this is a nicely composed shot. It's too bad that the sun was in that position, as it gives the picture a bit of a bluish cast. A bit of color balance adjustment or a warming filter effect would probably go a long way.
