Photographer's Note

I went to work early this morning so I could get caught up after being off work yesterday but I had to stop and get a photo of this beautiful sunrise. This is about 5 miles West of Hood River, Oregon. The Columbia River Gorge has a wide range of climates in a 60 mile span along the river from very wet, to very very dry. Hood River is the "middle" zone that is not as wet as the Western portion but not as dry as the Eastern areas like The Dalles, Arlington, etc.
