Photographer's Note
Two rows of lavender. There is a local "Lavender Festival" every year, this happened to be part of the field that had not been picked yet. The color was difficult, the sun was right overhead and made for a washed-out looking shot.

Unique viewpoint very creative vision. color, contrast and sharpness are great.

:) but not washed-out..I love lavender (any woman who does not?) and I liked the composition a lot with the pines behind..very good smelling shot, and very fresh..
I think I would crop the earth below though (1/10 of the pic)...it could make it more graphic maybe..

HWat a lovely photI can almost smell the lavvender. Although the lighting may not have been cooperative I likr its strenght here. I would crop the top maybe half an inch. Very cool shot.
