Photographer's Note

I have just returned from a photo-inspiring road trip with my brother through Oregon. The coast was spectacular, but so was the interior.

This is the view from down beside Crater Lake (in Southern Oregon) looking back up toward the perimeter road. The road runs full-circle around the lake, sometimes just feet from the edge of the cliffs. The southern half of the road was still shut due to snow that had yet to melt when we visited in the beginning of July. I don't quite understand this, as I was roasting in shorts and a t-shirt.
