Photographer's Note
The Las Vegas Strip at night. I posted a picture the other day with star tails so today here's one with automobile headlight tails.
With neon light galore, the Strip offers some good opportunities for night photography and in this case a chance to experiment with long exposures.
The exposure for this shot was about 45 seconds. This was shot around 3am and there was actually very little traffic at this time. I took the photo from the top of an escalator looking down towards the Paris. This was a good spot, but unfortunately I didn't notice I had captured some power lines near the top of the image until it was too late.
For post-processing, I adjusted the levels and sharpened.

Doug

It seems that LV awakes in the nigt and pictures of the city should be taken only during night, Doug. The vertical framing helps to straight up the Eiffel tower in the front.
I cannot see any power lines. Is that goo or bad :)
