Photographer's Note
Vegas Vic neon light sign in the old downtown part of Las Vegas. This is a light-hearted capture of the details of that area.
Las Vegas is a great tourist destination on many levels. Of course there is the gambling and entertainment. The Strip itself is a spectacle of gaudiness and the skyline with all the neon lights offers a lot of interesting subjects.
The city is also a great spot to use as a base camp for a vacation as you can tour several national parks in Utah and California within a reasonable drive.
For this shot, I adjusted the levels, cropped and sharpened.

Hi Douglas,
Yep neon lights are one of the typical things that make Las Vegas so special, nice shot with vivid hot colors, subject is a little bit provocative and politically incorrect in modern USA (I mean because of the cig...)
Have a nice sunday,
Jean-Yves
