Endovalley
Endovalley Picnic Area - Rocky Mountain National Park.
I have been posting so much grey winter images as of late I decided to find something a bit more lush.
One of my favorite spots in Rocky Mountain National Park is the Endovalley picnic area. In summer this is often a very crowded place unless you reach it early in the morning.
It sits at the base of old Fall River Road .. the early road up over the continental divide .. it is still open for a few months a year .. it is a small one way gravel road up to the Alpine Visitor Center on Trail Ridge Road.

Hi John!
Nice shot of this little river.Good light at the leafs and an interesting color of the water. The diagonal trunk on top is good for the composition.

Hi John,
Very peaceful scene you have captured here with the vivid green canopy covering this gentle brook. Reminds me of my beloved Plotterkill which I used to take my dogs for a daily dip.

Hello John,
Except for the conifers & slightly yellow tone this could have been shot by a stream in the jungle of Malaysia. Nice touch with the fallen pine. Regards. Latiff.

Hi John,
lovely picture of a lovely stream, nice and peaceful feel under that canopy. I most certainly wouldn't mind having a little picnic out there.
It puts you in the mood for relaxing with a nice cold beer... which is exactly what I'm gonna do!
Cheers,
Fulvio.

Hi John, there are a lot of things I like about this shot. I really am a sucker for a slow stream meandering through a green forest. Your colour is very good with excellent control on the light. You have excellent depth of field from the shore and stream bottom through to the back of the shot. What really sets this one apart from others though is the tree coming down across the stream. This just isn't expected and helps differentiate it from others like it.
Thanks, John

Hello John,
This is a serene and peaceful image of our majestic RMNP. Well designed and a beautiful photo. The fallen tree on the top really makes this work. Well done!

Really, John, it is difficult to choose a photograph to rate because they are all precious, with some impressive sites.
I chose to look at it because it produces a feeling of great calm.
The magnificent color spoil this wonderful corner.
Thanks
Angel
