Photographer's Note
Craig is in Colorado's high country (altitude about 7,000 feet) about 20 miles from the Wyoming border. It is a land of wide open spaces, and far from anywhere I imagine you've ever heard of!
I tried to capture the space that this farm (at left of the picture) has to itself, using the combination of the big sky and perspective these hay bales give to the scene.

Beautiful landscape and excellent Velvia colors. A panoramic format would have worked well here. The point of view you chose gives a good depth to the image but shows a bit too much grass in the foreground.

Breathtaking landscape shot, Paul. It is rainy and muddy in Ohio now that the ice and snow melted, and I look at the scene in this photo with envy. Excellent deep DOF, brilliant color. Great job!
