Photographer's Note
Taken in Red Rocks Settlers Park just below the Rocky Mountain front ranges in Boulder, Colorado. This is the end of a line of fencing, and I was intrigued by the shape. The sun was in the perfect position for the polarising filter to really get a deep shade of blue in the sky - further accentuated by my using Velvia film, which is gives very saturated colours.

I love using Velvia myself. Although the subject may lack intrest the photo has great contrast. I like the shapes, and I love the green with the blue background. The DOF is great!....cya's Matt

Hie Paul and thank you for putting this up. It is saturated and very very graphic. Even in digital photography, getting the Velvia effect is pretty much the main idea in the workflow. Bright, sharp and saturated.
