Hi Lyn, this is fantastic! It is Pescadero? I've a shot of the same lighthouse (diff POV) which I was thinking about posting, but I'll opt out as yours is much better :). The zig-zag line of the fence, the color variation in the sky, and the vastness of the cloud, all adds interest to the composition for me. The hue of the sky to the left of the building is eye catching. Did you use a polarizer? It is too bad the sun didn't come out to light up the white of the building and fence, but I like it just as well in the shade. Really very nice. Thanks for sharing.

The sky is dramatic Lyn and the composition fine. I like the meandering fence lines and the dark soil. What is missing for me is sunlight on the small building and the lighthouse. I know the challenge of working with moving cloud cover, but this fine scene would have been worth some time until you had both the distant clouds and some more light on the buildings. That would have been very dramatic. This is good work nonetheless. I've not encountered your work before and will make a point of checking out your portfolio.

nice job! the contrast found in this pic is just fantastic. also the lines of the fences are amazing. i love the combination of horizontal slats and the diagonals of the fences. the lighthouse is awesome, as is the sky!
