Photographer's Note
The dark silhouette of this lone California Oak tree made the scene more dramatic. Each oak tree seems to have a unique character and stand with authority and personality of its own.
As I look at the lone Oak tree on this hill I realize that there are times we need to stand alone to face the challenges in life. During these times it is important to believe in one self and focus on the positives to overcome the hurdles.

Lovely rich tones on this photograph
Really picked out well in little light
great clarity also
Not 100% convinced on the centering of the Oak but it takes little away from the skyline
interested in the distortion at the top center
You any idea what it is?

A simple nature image but with an attractive sky where the clouds give volume and a spectacular illumination from the setting sun. There is also a strange kind of fingerprint at the top, what is that ?¨
