Photographer's Note
This is what I saw as I came to the top of the hiking trail this afternoon. It was so beautiful watching the clouds drift across the sky and I waited a bit for the sun to beam down slightly on that far off hill. I took a few photos of the clouds on the opposite hill behind me but this one was more lovely by far. A popular trail in this park is Little Sycamore Trail and then it hooks to Old Boney Mountain trail as well as others within the park. Not much water in the creek, in fact it isn't even flowing.

Hello Karen ,
I love clods and skies , and this one is really attractive . But the whole composition is beautiful , with the dark hills contrasting with the lit coastal town in the low part of the picture .

a very beautiful sight and an excellently composed image due to your outstanding skills. The light and the colors are fantastic. The contrasts are also fascinating - as already mentioned by Denis. My compliments!

I like the use of the silhouette of the mountains to create depth. The vertical format worked well with the composition. Good lighting and dof with nice details. Awesome colors especially of the sky. Well done, tfs.

your title describes the colour palette of this shot very well. what a sky and the way that light just highlights the hill top in the distance - great I love it.

Hi Karen,
a very deep image, caught well from a high POV, in a good framing whith a big space to the sky and the clouds, which play a beautiful aesthetical role in the composition,
The landscape is beautiful, I love the contrast between the dark hills in FG and the beautiful lit coast.
