Photographer's Note
I shot this photo on interstate 5 half way between Shasta City and Yreka, California. I used a cokins orange 2 filter. I have the same picture with out the filter that I will post on a workshop soon.

HOUUU! TRÈS BELLE PHOTO!
L'ATMOSPHÈRE CRÉÉE PAR LA COULEUR ORANGÉ EST MAGNIFIQUE, ON SE CROIRAIT SUR LA PLANÈTE MARS.
JE LUI AURAIS PEUT-ÊTRE FAIT UN CADRE OU CROPER LE PETIT MORCEAU BLANC À DROITE, MAIS SINON, JE LA TROUVE TRÈS RÉUSSIT!
BRAVO!

hey Giuseppe!
The shot is wonderful, before i start critiquing it, I just want to tell you that I've added your photo into my favourites.
What type of filter did you use? I've been able to reach results like these through the use of the "guts" of an old floppy diskette when i was taking pictures of a sun.
I like the overall predominance of red. It evokes an almost out of this world feeling to this photograph. It looks like the martian surface. The red, also gives it a feeling of a very hot, day.
As for the things I'd improve in the photo, would be the cropping job.

Very beautiful scene and composition. I like unfilter version better. Because you can see more colors and more details and deep of field. Nice shot.
