Photographer's Note
This is an effort to take the pictures at March 19 at 17:02UTC time, or 9:02 Pacific Standard Time in U.S.
I dedicate this photo to my friend Steve (singuanti) at TE. I thank Steve for his help in my new camera shopping processes. This is my first photo uploaded to TE using my new Nikon D70. The camera arrived yesterday. I am still taking time to learn and to master the skills of how to mess up the settings.
This picture was taken at the 10th hole tee-off area in Los Verdes County Golf Course. Overlooking the Pacific Ocean, this golf course is a public golf course located in Palos Verdes. The forecast said that today would have 60% chance rain in Los Angeles area. And indeed, at the time I up load the photo to TE, it was raining. The golfers in this picture were making use of gaps between the rainy time to enjoy some outdoor activities.
I planed taking this picture at the dedicated time using my new camera hoping that I could tee-off nicely using my new camera.
I hope you like it.

Congratulations on your new camera - you are using it well already. I really like the soft subtleties of the cloud cover and the ocean - somehow, they stand out to me and are my favorite part of the photo. I also like the slice of life you captured here.

Bonjour Wes.
Ciel gris en Californie et soleil en France, le monde tourne l'envers.
Les couleurs sont parfaitement saturées malgré le ciel gris.
Vous nous donnez un bon apperçu du golf par l'image accompagné d'un bon commentaire.
Hello Wes.
Gray sky in California and sun in France, the world turns mad. The colors are saturated perfectly in spite of the gray sky. You give us a good outline of the golf by the image accompanied by a good comment.

Wes,
Good POV and natural green colours from your new Nikon. At some point I too will get a new camera, so it's good to get input from buyers like you. Good luck with your purchase which we all will see nice results from.
Regards,
Magnus

I`ll not comment the quality of the photo.
But I thank to you (all) for letting me beeing on 43 different places in the same moment, letting me see with your eyes, having somehow the same thoughts, letting me feel yoir spirit in the moment as I put my finger on the shutter.
Special thanks for Aleksei(kolesn) for his idea.
But although I have all that good feelings, after the enthusiasm of the moment has gone, there's something taht makes me think about.
There are actualy 13099 members on TE.

Hi Wes. I'm sure you will like the D70. I've been using it now since summer 2004 and it's a great camera. Enjoy!
Apart from that, this is a very nice picture. The 17:02hrs idea was a great one and this is a very nice contribution to the theme. Good point of view; I love the Pacific in the background.
