Photographer's Note

This picture was taken inside the Union Station in the open garden area to the right side of the huge and spacious waiting room. The Union Station is the train hub of Los Angeles and was built in 1939 by the father son duo of John Parkinson and Donald B. Parkinson. The architecture of this amazing structure is a blend of Art Deco, Spanish revival and Moorish architecture. The huge arches, the marble floors and the brilliant lighting make this an architecture photographers delight.
