Photographer's Note
Redwoods are very hardy as far as their survival goes, their bark is few inches thick and thus they can survive moderate fire. This particular tree in Klamath was spared from logging and in mid 1960s got struck by lightning. As it was damaged the owner decided to curve the base of the tree to make it a drive through attraction. This tree is approximately 300 years old and about 313 feet tall. A full size car can easily drive through the base of this tree. There are two drive through redwood trees in California, one is in Legget and that one is under National Park Service, this one in Klamath is privately owned and maintained.
Sorry about the quality of the photo, as I have mentioned before weather was not that co-operative.

Hi Pranab,
Those trees are really impressive!
But what happens to the tree when they make tunnels through, has to be some damage then...
Well composed and with nice deatils in spite of the low lighting!
Greetings,

Hi Pranab.
As Pablo told us, impressive Redwoods. It is a pity the overexposition in the sky.
Anyway, I like it.

Hi Pranab
A good pov, & the people sure add scale. There are some minor techical problems like the overexposure on the vehicle, but it's still a good record shot of these impressive trees.

Dear Pranab
Apart from the OE, I like the vertical perspective & the view of the famous drive-in tree

Hi Pranab
An impressive hole in the tree. Good that you`ve captured people there, but the car disturbs me a bit ;).

Hello Pranab da,
Great perspective and a nice TE post, really worth posting in TE. I like the info given by you as it was completely unknown to me. I was amazed to see such a tree! I know about some old banyan trees in India, but this is awesome.
Best regards,
Sayan

Dear Pranab,
Nice and interesting subject. Really I am amazed by thinking the innovative mind behind this piercing.
The natural greens look somwhat dull in colour, but their very much presence has enhanced the appeal of the surroundings. The running lady at far, the moving car in front of; and two standing spectators have brought life in this snap.
Thanks for sharing. I am trying to sharpen some colours in this photo.

Hi Pranab.
Perhaps the light is not the only problem: has you seen the car?
The car is not a problem by itself, but the car cutted is not nice.
Anyway, interesting.
Carlos.
