The strongest of the autumn leaves still clings to the trees.They look like lace work against the sky, the leaves as accents with their red orange color.
This was taken three years ago at the Contra Loma Regional Park trail in Antioch.

Wonder how this got missed. Perhaps there were a lot of Autumn leaf pictures on here at the time.
It's beautiful, so delicate, with the gnarled, slender branches and the red of the leaves against the sky.
