Photographer's Note
Walking through the Contra Loma Regional Park I saw this twig try to beat the upper branches in showing it's color. I cannot help but take it's picture. The tilt was intentional and adjusted levels control in photoshop to boost the highlight and thus the contrast.

Hello André,
Beautiful green and yellow tones of these new leaves and new life.
The contrast is nice with the old and hard cortex of the trunk.
Best regards, Paul

Hello Andre,
Fine play of light in an image showing the essence of spring:
The beginning of new life...
Well framed and attractive colours, good DoF and the leaves stand out well on the blurry back!
Greetings,
Pablo -
