Photographer's Note

Spring is here! Spring means warm sun. Spring means young people. Spring means fishing.

This was taken at the Contra Loma Regional Park in Antioch. When I saw these two kids just talking while leisure holding fishing poles under a partially shaded area, I saw and appreciated the beauty around them. I froze that moment in my camera.

Contra Loma Rgional Park is a gem in San Francisco East Bay Area. This park connects to the Black Diamond Mines Regional Preserve. Visitors can enjoy hiking trails, picnic areas and an 80-acre reservoir. The reservoir is open year-round for fishing, and in the summer months for swimming and wind surfing. Anglers can try their luck at catching catfish, black and striped bass, bluegill, trout, and red-eared sunfish.
