Photographer's Note
A view upstream of Oak Creek taken above the usual photo locations in Slide Rock State Park. While the air temperature wasn't bad, my earlier stops along Oak Creek in the Coconino National Forest had me attempting slow shutter speed photos of the creek flowing over rapids along side snow and icicles. The area of the creek closer to the entrance earns the park its name as bathers abrade swimming suits and skin sliding along the sandstone over a long stretch of the creek where the flow of water slows a bit.
ISO 80, 1/40 second at f/16, 24mm focal length
