Photographer's Note
Sedona /sɨˈdoʊnə/ is a city that straddles the county line between Coconino and Yavapai counties in the northern Verde Valley region of the U.S. state of Arizona. As of the 2010 census, its population was 10,031. Sedona's main attraction is its array of red sandstone formations. The formations appear to glow in brilliant orange and red when illuminated by the rising or setting sun. The red rocks form a popular backdrop for many activities, ranging from spiritual pursuits to the hundreds of hiking and mountain biking trails. Sedona was named after Sedona Arabella Miller Schnebly (1877–1950), the wife of Theodore Carlton Schnebly, the city's first postmaster, who was celebrated for her hospitality and industriousness. Magical image with amazing warm light and colours. The full moon makes it a very special shot and the two baloons are the icing on the cake.

the fabulous light glowing on the sandstone rocks is most attractive and with the rising moon and the hot air balloons well placed in the frame this is a fine piece of photography.

Hello Eleu, Stunning composition. The setting sun is painting the rock in fantastic red colours, bur here in the early hours we can see also balloons and full moon. Superb picture, you can be proud of.

Hello Eleu,
I would gladly make a balloon flight over this amazing landscape and yet I doubt whether the balloonists could take an equally beautiful picture as this one.
Fantastic sandstone formations in attractive fiery red colour. Great contrast between the sunlit rocks and the parts in the shadow.
The full moon and the balloons are placed well on the picture.

What a striking image - the icon of the American Southwest and the glowing red rocks when hit by the angle light.....
Indeed a fabulous location for photography with that conditions and the evening light certainly enhances the whole spectacle made even more awesome by the full moon rising and the balloons. Delightful catch, Congrats.

Morning with a moon, as the balloons taken-off over the magnificent Sedona-park with its red rocks scenery.
Maybe the shaded part would be lessen if a few minutes would past - but we can never wait - photographers have to take any minute possible.
