Photographer's Note

Today, we visited the town of Harpers Ferry, WA. Apart from the historic location of the town, the naturar beauty around it is simply breathtaking. An unworldly sight in this area is the point where the two rivers, the Potomac and the Shenandoah join waters in a magnificent view. In fact, Thomas Jefferson, while camping in the area on his way to the Continental Congress in 1783 made a remark on the natural beauty of the area as "perhaps one of the most stupendous scenes in Nature."
I will post a series on Harpers Ferry in the next few days.
