Croatan Beach, Virginia Beach, Virginia.

This residential beach is mostly inhabited by surfers, body boarders and locals.(There were people surfing that day).

We had a group of girl scouts that were there to do a community clean up of the beach but the weather had made our job a bit redundant. We still picked up a lot but the freezing wind made it a painful morning. My eye was caught by the contrast in the sky and raging sea.

TECH: 11 handheld digital images (D100) blended together in PS7 with masking and level adjustment layers. The adjustments needed were minor and were mostly to compensate for exposure differences between frames.

P.S.- Work has been keeping me away for a while and I was hampered by loosing my hard drive with a year worth of imagery. I am in the process of reconstructing my work and will try to get back into posting and critiquing as soon as I can.
