Photographer's Note
Here is another picture from a series in cultural showcase in my university campus. This shot was taken after the show where people hanged out around outside the stage. And she was just ready for this pose. I really like her facial expression, and especially her hair cover...so colorful.

Hello Sothy,
What a magnificent portrait, and shot less than a month ago. The composition is exquisite, the definition and colors totally first class. Well done. Enjoy the rest of your weekend. (The centerline, needless to say, is exactly where the Master would have placed it.

Hi Sothy,
This one just blasts from the screen. So powerfull against the white background and the colors so African!
A very good portrait where she looks straight in the camera and excellent positioning in the frame.
Was it originally shot in front of a white background or did you remove the original background in PP (very good choice in that case) ?
Goes straight into the favs.
Very well done!

Hi Sothy,
This is fantastic close up.Its a pity that you couldn't capture the turban at the top of her head.Great clarity and the variation of color is awesome.I like that you have made the B/G as white, that creates a great contrast in this snap.Very impressive work.

Hi Sothy
When a cambodian man look at the african culture in America ... Interesting cultural contrast.
I also like the beautifull smile of this gild.

Hi Sothy,
It's a great portrait of a beautiful and talented model made by an inspired and skilful photographer. Her joy is contagious.
You make wonders with that lens, the sharpness and colours couldn't be better.
Just curious: you put her left eye exactly on the middle on purpose or it just happened by hazard? Since I read Bülent Atalay's references to the effect of that and how it's so commonly found in many great portraits I have been confirming that he is most right.
Regards, José.

Hi Sothy, very remearkable portrait! The joy and satidfaction with completion of the show is so present. The framing is perfect and the off center placement of the faace and though the left eye in the center is so critical for the success of this photography. Did you do a PP to achieve the white bg?
Cheers, Peter
