The Washington Monument!
Washington D.C. is a beautiful city. Unfortunately when I was there they were undergoing major renovation and there were construction sites all over the place.
I was lucky enough to get this shot without any distracions, such as cars and people going by, with exception for the cyclist, which I think adds a little life to this image.

Hi Leo,
Nice capture of the Monument. I was there during the construction period as well - was SO disappointed to see that the reflections pool was dry, and there were signs of the construction sight everywhere... They were building the WW2 memorial, which was opened several weeks ago. Time to go visit there again, I guess ;)
