Photographer's Note
This area was the first area to get hit by the flood when the levee broke. The dirt line across the houses shows where the water level was. The "Keep Out" signs were, of course, to keep people out of the houses in the chaos that followed the levee break.

This is an amazing photo, It captures a time in history that many people forgot about too quickly. This picture is good, because it has a main point for you eyes to focus on, but there is also so much more that you can see. I also think Black and white is a very good choice. Keep the good work up.
