It is an impressive church with a very nice architecture. The sky is very well polarised but the church, the façade and part of the dome seam to be a bit over-exposed. Well done and congratulations on the new 50D.

Hi Asa,
You have captured this beautiful Renaissance style church in fantastic lighting conditions that bring out all its striking details.
The orange Spanish style roof looks wonderful against the vivid blue sky that contrast brilliantly with the tropical palms.
This wonderfully maintained church must have cost a pretty penny back in its day.

This is the 1st post from 50D that I have seen and it is not disappointing to see the quality of the shot.

Saturation of color and contrast is very good from the use of CPL. The POV and composition is done well for this majestic looking church.

I agree about the cars, no way to avoid unless a crop which is subjective preference.

A most interesting and unusual church. The light colours of the church make a fine contrast with the deep blue polarised sky. Very good clarity.

Bonjour Asa,
Je n'imaginais pas que l'on puisse trouver aux USA une telle architecture, très colorée et d'un style qui rappelle le baroque!
Le bleu du ciel rehaussé par l'effet du polariseur fait magnifiquement ressortir les couleurs de cette Flager Church!

strong colours just asking my eye come and have a look. Interesting church and you achieved good shaprness and clarity from an appealing POV. The cars are not nice but daily appearance.

Interesting pseudo moorish architecture, makes a nice combination with the tropical vegetation, perhaps I would crop out 10% or so from the bottom to eliminate some of the parked car roofs.

Hi Asa,
what I like here are the strog colors, especially of the sky. The chruch stands out well against them and the sharpness is excellent, jsut as I expected it to see from a 50D, how do you like the camera, are you happy with it?

Perfect composition with a good setting and a great treatment of the light and of the colors, which gives a nice aesthetic effect and catches finely the interesting architecture of the church, with a fantastic blue sky like backdrop.

The palm trees are framing well the church. The point of view is allowing us to see the details and colors of the architecture of the church. The picture is clear and precise. The nice blue sky is sending the light which is enhancing the colors. Have a nice day.

Des couleurs très fortes Asa, sans doute le point fort de cette photo. Les voitures gênent un peu, mais je croi qu'il vaut mieux les avoir en entier que coupées en deux, c'est mon avis en tous cas.
Des lumières peut-être un rien trop fortes sur les zones exposées au soleil.
