Photographer's Note
The Little Estero Critical Wildlife Area on Fort Myers Beach is a haven to wildlife of all kinds, but most of the time it's the birds that are the attraction. Dragonflies are beautiful insects, difficult to photograph, but when sunlight lights the wings from behind it's well worth it.

Hello Gregory,
This view is magical. With the position of the dragonfly's body, it reminds me of a small fairy, such as Tinkerbell. If it were wearing a small costume, we might almost mistake it for a pixie of some sort. :-) Lovely lighting, sharpness, and green background, too.

Wonderful capture. The background really does a great job of bringing forward the subject.
Keep on clicking.

Hello Gregory
I know how difficult these dragonflies are to capture, but you have managed it wonderfully.
With the lighting of the sun through the wings ,this is a wonderful picture.

Gladys.
