Photographer's Note
I read on the internet yesterday about a borderline partial lunar eclipse that was supposed to take place as the full moon rose last night. There was supposed to be a very slight shadow covering the lower half but the article suggested it might be so slight it could easily go unnoticed. Maybe I saw it and maybe I didn't. We had thin clouds passing by from time to time that made the moon go a little darker but to be honest I don't think I saw it. I was hoping it would be more noticable and easy to photograph but instead I came away with your basic classic moon shot.

Hi Greg
Powerful subject and very well executed image. I love the way the photo shows the detail on the surface of the moon. The format suits the subject really well.
Best wishes
Kasia
