Photographer's Note
Cycling is one of the events featured in the Florida Senior Games, which takes place each December. Amateur athletes between the ages of 50 and 90+ years compete in nearly 30 different sports over a 10-day period.
On this day the cyclists were racing against themselves and the clock during time trials. To show a sense of motion I slowed the shutter speed down and followed the cyclists by panning, trying to keep the rider in the center of the image.
