Photographer's Note

Today, we went tubing on the Clarion River. Clarion is about an hour and a half easterly drive on I-80 from New Castle. The region is called Cook's Forest and is home to Cook's Forest State Park. Not surprisingly, the establishment from where we rented the tubes was also called Cook Forest Canoe Rentals. It was a hot day and we decided tubing would be cooler that canoeing.

We are looking at the hut where canoes, kayaks and tubes are rented. What was interesting to me was the sign asking people to wear masks (more visible in the workshop photo). Since we were planning to be outdoors, we hadn't even brought masks along - and they did not bring the subject up.
