Photographer's Note
This was taken at an earlier date than my recent visit to "Top of the Rock", but it is the same building that holds the observation deck.
Rockefeller Center is filled with wonderful art deco artwork. Most of the buildings that make up the complex have beautiful murals, gold etchings, or other art that is worth a look. This work, entitled "Wisdom" is over the main entrance of 30 Rockefeller Plaza. If only we truly had "stability in our times"...

Exactly... if only we have such stability in the World today... :'(
Your compo is well conceived, altough I dislike the perspective. Of course that's what you get when you shoot from a very low POV, and many times you can't do anything to improve the view. I tried to do some tweaking in Photoshop, but I disliked the results on the low resolution image.
Anyway, well seen... and again, why didn't I go to the Top of the Rock!??!

Hi Brenda,
Very well caught the beauty of the Lee Lawrie's sculpture in the entrance of GE Building. I know it, and I like, in fact, all the decoration art-déco of the complex of the Rockefeller Center, and specially of this building, she is magnificent. The murals in their lobby are very beautiful, among them there is one of the Catalan artist Josep Maria Sert.
The photo gathers the details very well of this sculpture, with beautiful colors, and illuminated very well. Good frame also.
