Nice picture great composition
I have found it suprising that theres has been no call for help for the victims of Hurricane Katrina. That nations like Australia haven't publicly offered as they did immediately after the tsunami...
Update...I have just learned that the Aust. Gorevrnment has already donated 10 million dollars to the US Red Cross to help victims and has given undertakings to the Bush Government to assist in anyway as requested
let's hope they are getting what help they need

Hello, Dee,
Beautiful lighting and golden color! with the finishing accents of the torch and crown. I was heartened to see the outpouring of aid for hurricane refugees from private citizens across the country (after the alarming inaction of the local governments to evacuate their own people beforehand). The poem you have quoted at the base of the statue of liberty is a strong reminder of what we are to be about as a nation in such times.
