At 5 A.M this morning, I couldn't resist this capture. The sun was about to greet the day, and I just had to save it. 38mm focal length. Shot from my front yard in Rochester.

Amazing colors and a wonderful tonality you captured,Jack,very well composed and texture of the clouds in the sky is great here,also good use of the tree in left side of the frame,I like it.

Congratulation with this capture Jack - I'm sure you a sun-pillar here - it coursed by ice crystal in the atmospere - and yes - even in June.

So it pays to get up early sometimes. I really like the silhoutte of the tree on the left and that very yellow beam of light announcing the sun itself. Doesn't look too cold your end of the world - yet.
