Photographer's Note

Hello Everyone,

People who live in the U.K. will probably be familiar with the paintings of John Constable; he seems to be known by everyone and 'The Haywain' is the most popular painting.

My photograph shows Willy Lott's Cottage, the building which features on 'The Haywain'.

The cottage is quite close to Flatford Mill, where constable lived and where many of his paintings originated.

I was sad that the sun wasn't out when we were there but that's the lot of photographers, unless you can wait all day, you have to use the light that is available.

Paintings, or copies of the paintings, were on show in the information building. I took a photograph of The Haywain which I will post as a workshop for your information.

Thanks for your interest, Bev :-)
