Photographer's Note

As i stood there at this window - i realise that this is indeed a "Window of the Past", more than 1,000 years old ! This window is part of the Angkor Thom temple (900+ AD) in Cambodia and the intricate cravings on the walls represent Apsaras - celestial dancers. Beautiful women of the past ... The Angkor Wat and other temples such as this one around the same area is magnificent in her history, huge and ancient, full of mystery and history. i never knew the size of Cambodia in ancient times until i visited this place!

The temples here are as big as some of those in China and for a country of 14 million, these structures are indeed big in comparison with China's temples and her population!
