Photographer's Note

Good Morning Everyone,

It was a dull, blustery day when my husband and I visited Whitby, with dear friends Kath & Rob Featherstone. Despite the weather, Whitby is such a picturesque, interesting place to photograph.

We went down to the harbour, amused by all the tiny wading birds and the energetic dog who loved to scatter them. Then, our attention was attracted by the old anchor, displayed on the quayside. You can see it, here, with the pier and the lighthouse in the distance.
(I know Kath has photographed this and I couldn't resist either!) It seems to say so much about Whitby's seafaring heritage and connections to Captain Cook!

Many thanks for stopping by, Bev :-)
