Sailing in Vancouver

A more iconic photo of Vancouver today, this is Canada Place at the Vancouver Waterfront. Completed in 1986, it is home to the Vancouver Convention Centre, the World Trade Centre and the city’s main cruise ship terminal, as you can see here clearly. Two weeks ago, when I took this photo, MS Princess Royal was docked in Vancouver. Operated by Princess Cruises, it had its maiden voyage in 2013. There is room for 3,600 passengers. It was probably going to Alaska, the ships current location can be found here and it is once again on its way back to Vancouver from Ketchikan, AK.
