Photographer's Note
One of many photos I took on my little vacation in Split last week. Photo shows passage under arch built during the Roman Empire that was part of big Diocletian palace in today Split. In the background we can see medieval house that was upgraded several times in different architecture styles along with many other houses in historic center.
Historic center of Split is part of UNESCO world heritage, and is one of most popular tourist destinations in Mediterranean.

Nice idea to frame that way with the arch, beautiful background with photograph shop and this gorgeous window, the differnt contrasts given a hard light difference very well managed!

Hello Roko,
You have a good eye for composition and making effective use of the features, for taking the shot through the archway has immediately added textural and environmental interest. You have taken the viewers with you into the sunlit courtyard, noting the stony textures and into the open doorway.
Very well captured in differing light conditions.

Hello Roko,
a really well composed shot with good use being made of the arch to frame the interesting features of the building behind,the shapes and textures are delightful with the bicycle adding a little more interest.
The exposure settings work well and clarity is first rate.
