Photographer's Note
Still in Sintra but now in historical centre of this town, today I decided to post one of the many charming little corners we may find in the town.
It's really amazing the amount of interesting details yhis town can deliver us every time we go there.
For me, along with Óbidos one of the most beautiful places in Portugal, everytime I go there I discover something new (that was already there but I didn't saw it) with interest.
For those who are planing a trip to Portugal don't loose the oportunity to have a walk on this town, you won't give the time you spend there as wasted.
Hope you enjoy this little corner, some more will be posted...

Olá Paulo,
Bonita foto, com cores vibrantes e equilibradas.
É pena nao aparecer a totalidade da placa identificativa do local, o reflexo é do flash?

Regards.
Daniel.

Hello Paulo,
Wow! This is a great photo. The bright colors of the wall contrast nicely with the worn-out cobbelstone street. The planters bring all the elements together to form a great shot.
I do agree with you that this is one of the msot beautiful places in all of Portugal. I travel there at least twice per year and I never get tired of the town. There are several really good coffee shops in the area of your photo where you can sit outside, drink a coffee or beer and watch the world pass you by. I do miss being there.....
I took a photo of the same street but underneath the archway as seen Here
I can't wait to return in April.

David...

Olá Paulo,
the beauty is catching the eye in less than a second. Wonderful colors and beautiful scenery. So many things to have a look on. Your POV to capture that was well chosen as we have also some depth in those narrow streets. The only pity is about the street plate on the left house, as it is a bit cut. But that is only a small detail. I like your shot as I said before.

Bom dia Paulo,

Very well balanced photo in terms of colors. Also a wonderful POV showing us the small corners of the street, and perfect sharpness. However, and probably it´s a vice of mine, I would correct the perspective, which I did in workshop.

good angle to have depth with the street, lovely colours, just a detail : the name of the sterret on the top of your shot is too much cropped, a detail ...

Hello Paulo
Normally a human element adds a lot to a photo, but I feel that this particlar scene has everything in spite of its lack of human element. You have captured the architecture in such an intimate way that it has an almost human charm to it
Well done

Hello Paulo,
as a colour-oriented person, I couldn't resist to this fantastic shot. You captured very well this nice corner of the old town. The sharpness is perfect and the details, like the texture of the pavement is well visible. Very well managed light conditions and of course, fantastic pastel colours here. Great one!
Tfs and best wishes.

Paulo,
I think this technique you have of driving the contrast and the saturation is very nice when combined with these street scenes from Portugal. I think it works well because the scenes you see are well chosen and comosed but you also do not lose the detail to contrast or chroma blur, very very nice. Great capture.
As for the workshop to straighten the shot, I think your centerline is truer. In the video world there is vertical and apparent vertical, I think you have the apparent vertical correct.

strolling through your gallery seemed like taking a virtual tour in Portugal. Your shots, of which a typical sample is this one, are most of the time very realistic and makes the visitor feel as if he was there himself. nice shot perfect treatment.

HI Paulo
This is a well seen picture that you have captured ,and everything pin sharp. It tells me a story!
Even though the area may not be of the highest standard the inhabitants have great pride in their home as is shown by the care of the potted plants. Wonderful! T.F.S.

Hello Paulo,
This is the first time I am seeing your gallery and I see many beautiful pictures here. Lovely shot of this old corner with that bright red door grabbing the attention. The yellow wall is a nice color contrast. The green plants in the pots are nicely placed along the wall and the door on the stone paved alley. Very charming image with quality, colors and depth.
