PULAU TEKONG – SINGAPORE
When I remember back these many flights I’ve taken in the past, there is nothing else than the spectacular views of the world below the airplane that remain in my memory; views which we are not able to see from the ground.
Enjoy the view of the world outside the airplane window as I have seen and captured it with my camera.
I've taken this photo of Singaporean Basic Military Training Centre at Pulau (Island) Tekong during landing approach to Singapore Changi Airport on the way from Kuala Lumpur at an altitude of around 3,000m a.s.l.
Pulau Tekong is the second largest of Singapore's outlying islands with an area of around 25 km²; the island is still expanding due to land reclamation works on its southern and northwestern coasts which will eventually subsume many of its surrounding small islets.

Hello Miro,
This is a good aerial photograph where the ligh and sharpness are spread equally all over the image. These red roofs and white buildings contrast sharply against the forest behind. I like the plume of sand in the water. Well done.

Not the concrete jungle view of Singapore with sky scrapers vying for the sky! Lovely view of the Training Centre with patches of red roof amidst the sea of green. The blue green contrast is also beautiful

This is an amazingly clear and bright view (taking into account the fact that it was shot through the airplane window) - and an interesting beautiful composition as well!

The world bellow seems marvelous, Miro, you had a notable clean window in the airplae on that flight.
