I know very well India but the Andaman I have not had the pleasure of visiting them, the beautiful purple hues and light, excellent framing and a great depth, it seems a place very wild...

I suggest you to get closer of the shore with a low position to give a deeper foreground.

Hello Madhumita,
Those were the days, when a war criminal had an island named after him. I don't think he deserved that.
This is anyway a lovely photo with remarkable colours. You have captured the evening atmosphere of a tropical island very well with good sharpness and clarity.
I spent a few days at Havelock Island more than 11 years ago. Returning to Port Blair the boat stopped just briefly at Neil island. I didn't get a chance to go ashore but it looked very inviting from a distance.

this is a marvellous picture in a long panoramic frame that enhances the already superb sense of depth and perspective created by your composition. Lighting is masterful. I love the magnificent evening colours that are reflected on the silvery sea. The mysterious distand land is a great addition that offers intriguing contrast. The weather looks pretty bleak here but the heavy dramatic sky overhead is interesting and the scene conveys the sense of calmness. Good clarity and coloring with minimal foreground subjects with nice touch of diagonal line. Excellent clarity, sharpness and contrast. Great ideas and lovely image all round. Congrats

It is the first time I visit your gallery and I realize that you have many excellent photos in your gallery. This is perhaps not your most beautiful photo but still a brilliant photo. The composition could not be better with the horizon line at 1/3 and diagonal shore line. The colours are also very attractive and a bit unusual. TFS and have a nice day!

its nice to see you posting photos again, but i'll go back into your gallery a bit first :)
its not too often we get to see such purples and violets in skylines like this - its such a treat.
lvoe the diagonal lines for depth and perspective too.
