Photographer's Note
I just couldn't help but post one more shot from my evening shoot at the Cheam Wetlands last week near where I live. This shot was taken only about 10 minutes after my last post, so you can see the last sunrays are illuminating only the tops of the trees. I liked the panorama perspective here. Enjoy. Hi Gerald,
You have captured the place in the evening beautifully. In my mind one doubt is there, that orange sunlight is only visible on the upper part of the trees, though sunlight is also there on the grass. You know better the situation at that point of time. Reflection is looking great. If it is natural light, than this is a superb shot. Congrats.

Excellent red highlights on the trees here Gerald. I love the composition in wide format too. I honestly don't think I have ever seen the fall trees here this red actually. Was the sunlight still setting on them? You most certainly were there at the right time Gerald.

salut gerald
un paysage sous des couleurs de feu, un format pano c'est bien mais il aurai fallu une version large qui donnerai toute la dimension de ce paysage

Hello Gerald
For my liking, the tips may be a little too saturated. undoubtably the sun is illuminating the treetops, i'm just not sure if it looks realistic.
the composition and clarity is excellent, especially with the mountain range top left.
i can almost feel the crisp clean air, and with the water reflections it makes a pretty, picturesque scene.
I also like the elongated panoramic effect.
Well done
Have a great day

Bonjour Gerald,
My best regards.
Daniel.

Hi, Gerald. Good idea to choose a panoramic format. This focuses on the trees which are the main interest in your picture. Very nice colours and reflections. The landscape in the background is also worth a look!
Have a nice day,
Philippe

hi gerald,
same place, with a different framing, the panoramic format works well, You're producing some real gems lately, and this is another: spot on with the exposure, colours and composition.

Hi Gerald,
Stunning autumn gold seen making a striking reflection in the tranquil mountain lake.
The snow capped mountains make the ideal backdrop to this tastefully framed image.

Hi Gerald, first and last light are such special times even for non-photographers, but for those who love the camera, they are just magical. Just like this panorama. The trees seem to be on fire, you have wonderful DOF and the reflections are like glass. Congratulations on this photo and thanks for sharing it. Warm regards from Sydney, Lisa

Hi Gerald,
The last light sure is rich in its orange tone. The Panoramic view is nice but I felt it got crop a bit too tight on the top. It seems to make sense to show more of the Mountain. The reflection is beautiful with some wavy patterns. The colorful leaves seem flat without much detail due to the low light. But the over impression is really good and the evening mood well depicted. Thanks
Way

Hello Gerald,
I have no idea what kind of trees you have over there but they for sure look good in images..!
Seldom strong autumn colours are well captured, doubled in the mirror and contrasting well with the snowy summits...
Fine seasonal mood well transmitted!

Hi! Gerald
Happy new year 2010. Very good panoramic view of the sunlight on the trees. bringing a natural warm paint to a cold november of rocky mountains. Very good details and nice land.
