Mais uma foto das Azenhas do Mar o sol já se encontrava baixo e a luz estava bem suave .

As Azenhas do Mar é uma povoação antiga, cujas origens se perdem na memória do tempo. Data, provavelmente, da época do domínio árabe a implantação dos primeiros moinhos de água,de estilo sarraceno, situando-se entre o século VIII e XIII, as populares azenhas que deram o nome à terra.Havia muitíssimas azenhas, infelizmente algumas já desapareceram, distribuídas ao longo do rio até à Praia das Azenhas do Mar. E eram, precisamente, as comportas que definiam o caudal do rio, fazendo mover as azenhas. Esta azenha, agora recuperada, moía cereais. Antigamente, muitas eram as azenhas existentes e muitos eram os moleiros que aqui se deslocavam para moer a sua farinha e os seus cereais Primeiramente, este local até era chamado de Praia dos Moleiros... e só mais tarde, foi Azenhas do Mar.
Foi uma das azenhas que deu o nome à terra.

The clarity and sharpness are just amazing. You almost feel as if you were standing on that cliff. The colors are outstanding with the town drenched in a warm glow thanks to the sunlight and a magnificent blue ocean. The horizon is in a good spot as well with the sky taking up a third of the picture.

Tinha a sensação que tinhas mais do que dois posts anteriores com esta perspectiva. Apesar do PdV ser o mesmo, são fotos bastante diferentes e é muito interessante compará-las. Se é certo que a vista é muito pitoresca, todos sabemos que isso não basta para conseguir fotos tão atraentes como esta ou as outras. A mistura dos tons quentes do sol poente e do azul do céu e do mar junta-se ao padrão geométrico das casas penduradas na arriba para fazer uma imagem lindíssima.

The capture of the poser of the sea is an asset to the composition. The point of view is showing the details and colors of the village, it is also leading our eyes toward the horizon which is giving depth to the photo. Hi Goncalo,
Superb utilisation of the great light cast on these sea cliffs. I like the motion provided by the breaking waves and gradual hue change in the sky and water. The village looks very interesting and the uniform architecture is a great subject for the composition.

Not seeing you much on TE posting's, so i taken the opportunity to look into the main-page photos of yours.
Great divided the view over cliif-top town. Contrast to blue sea is exquisite on the morning light.
