Photographer's Note

Her shoulders were hunched forward,
a reaction to the brisk morning air.

Condensation coated the railing,
some gathered into beads
ready to drop.

She sat motionless. Her eyes in the distance.

In an instant,
Her thoughts came rushing back.

She was again on that cold, slightly damp, wooden bench.

There was that nagging,
awkward feeling that always comes with Offness.

She shivered.
And cautiously,
she looked over her shoulder.

The best part of the day had passed,
it was 8am.

* * *

This is the second of my Rainy Day series.

Actually I think she was just looking over her shoulder to glare at the photographer behind her! hahahaha!

Anyways this pic was taken at the same time as my previous pic, Goodbye to Summer.

Post-pro: The cloud effect was created with concentric circles of increasing level manipulation.
