Vue partielle de l'environnement minier de la mine de Chrysotile Carey Canada Inc. On distingue bien le moulin, construit durant les années 50, localisé entre les haldes de résidus miniers. À gauche, la halde de couleur blanchâtre, est contituée de résidus provenants de l'usine tandis que la halde de droite est constituée de roches sans valeur et de mort-terrain provenant du puit d'extraction. La voie ferrée du Québec Central était une opprtunité supplémentaire pour le transport du produit vers les pays étrangers.

Partial view of the mining environment of the Carey Canada chrysotile mine. We see the mill, built during the fifties, located between the dumps. On the left, the white-grey dump, is made of residues coming from the factory. The one on the right is made of useless rocks and dead ground coming from the open pit. The Quebec Central railway was an additional opportunity for the transport of the product to the foreign countries.

Une autre belle composition avec de jolies couleurs naturelles, belle perpective avec la track de chemin de fer et ces buttes de résidus miniers,et je termine par ton magnifique ciel et nuages moutonneux très jolie à contempler..bravo..

Hi Denis,
Beautiful blue sky with lovely clouds are seen contrasting brilliantly with the lush green plants that are reclaiming the old dump heaps. The placement of the railroad tracks adds nice depth to this fine image.

an interesting depiction of this mine. by your enhanced saturation of the greens one can clearly see how the nature is trying to claim back "the lost territory". i like it.

this shot looks like a painting specially because of the clouds formation. It looks that rail road is not used anymore...I like its perspective in the image. Very good work!

what an incredible shot! The light is wonderful and the greens of the foliage are perfect. I like the way the railway leads the eye in and the mounds of different heights add good depth. The thing I especially like is that sky. Man, that is just awesome. Beautifully done!! Thanks and kindest regards,

Le ciel est épatant avec ces nuages bien en ordre. Les détails sont précis et l'ambiance est bien de désolation avec la voie ferrée à l'abandon. Belle angle pour l prise de l'image

Bonjour Denis,
Cette photo nous rappelle que les temps changent: avant l'amiante était roi et les convois du Québec Central arpentaient la voie ferrée.
On ne sait plus quoi faire avec les résidus, le mort-terrain eh bien il n'y a plus rien a faire avec et le Québec Central est encore une fois en faillite.
